Guidelines for Submitting Stories to Australian Sky & Telescope

Australian Sky & Telescope magazine is undoubtedly Australia’s finest astronomy magazine. Accordingly, we only publish the very best stories and images from Australian contributors. For a story to be published in the magazine, it must be at once engaging and informative. It must be well-written, timely, original, and relevant to our readership of Australian and New Zealand amateur and professional astronomers.

The best way to establish whether your story would be suitable for publication in Australian Sky & Telescope is to submit a 200-word synopsis – along with a list of images you have to accompany the story -- to contributions@austskyandtel.com.au for consideration by the editorial staff. Also submit a short 200-word bio on yourself and your experience. If the story’s considered suitable, our staff will be in contact with you. Allow four weeks for a reply.

Like all major magazines, Australian Sky & Telescope prefers unique content. Therefore we request that any articles you write for Australian Sky & Telescope will not have appeared elsewhere, whether in print or electronic format.
